Expedia knows travel - really knows travel. That travel unlocks experiences be that great adventures or restorative chill.  

Working with both the internal and external C suite across global locations this design system was a joy to create. It works on two key pillars: authentic real photography shot from the lens of the traveler and a directional graphic system that takes you to that exact geo location. Marrying the travel experience with the expertise to take you there. 

We took the brand purpose as the starting point for all design elements. Traveling type that moves and cocoons an experience when used with images, icons build from the Expedia plane with tapered edges and sliding/moving animation styles. 

In our first round of creative we sources thousands of images from around the world to perfectly capture that authentic in person moment then curated them down to the top 1% for use in print.

EXPEDIA SPORT

Bringing the Expedia expertise into the world of sport. 

This called for a higher more charged energy that taps into the experience of a sporting event. Our sports work kicked off with 7 ident’s created with Aniverse Animation. Sports icons were created to the same design rules as our master icons. Balls, racing cars, scrums and pucks raced through the animations and transferred into Expedia’s brand offerings icons. Again marrying the experience and expertise to take you there
